GriefShare: A Support Group for Those Grieving
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
—Matthew 5:4 (ESV)
GriefShare is a support group for those struggling with grief. In this 13-week program, you'll learn to navigate the challenging journey of moving through grief and some of what you can expect to experience during the grieving process. You'll also learn practical coping strategies to help you manage the unpredictability of grief while you receive support from other group members every step of the way.
GriefShare was founded by a Church Initiative, a nonprofit Christian ministry based in North Carolina. Part of their vision is to see Believers find freedom from their bereavement in Jesus and through God-given resources.
Although GriefShare is founded on Biblical principles for overcoming grief, our support group at Northport Baptist Church is open to all adults. We welcome you to join us to find hope, healing, and peace.
