Abide 2026

As we enter a new year, Northport Baptist Church is launching Abide — a 21-day church-wide season of prayer and fasting beginning January 4, 2026. Rooted in John 15:4, this series calls us to abide in Christ — not just during set prayer times, but throughout our everyday lives, weaving prayer into our routines and remembering that apart from Him we can do nothing. NewHope Church This season isn’t about adding another task to your calendar. It’s about learning to remain connected to Jesus in every moment of every day — making prayer a way of life and preparing our hearts to hear from God. Watch this video as Pastor John Jenkins introduces Abide and invites our church family and community to walk through these 21 days of prayer and fasting together. Beginning January 4, we’re abiding in Christ—abide with us.
