Information for Visitors

We're glad you're interested in visiting us at Northport Baptist Church! Here are a few things you might like to know about before your first visit.

Schedule
The regular schedule for our worship services is found on our website. You can also view the schedule for this week or look at the church calendar.

Where We Are
We also have a web page explaining how to find us. Our worship services are held in our new sanctuary on the north end of the facility, adjacent to the parking area. Just enter the building from the parking lot at the porte-cochere (covered drive-through entrance), and you will be in the foyer by the sanctuary.

Sunday School
If you'd like to attend Sunday School but don't know how to find your classroom, enter at the doors described above. There you will find greeters who will be happy to escort you to the correct location. Or wait by your car for the people cart; the driver can get you to a door nearest your classroom. Check out our web page on Sunday School to learn about your choices.

Nursery and Children's Church
A Nursery is available for preschoolers at every meeting. Greeters and ushers can show you. Take a pager from the worker, who can then notify you anywhere on the property if there is a need. Fours through Second Graders have their own Morning Worship time in Children's Church, designed to teach worship in a setting a little more to their liking than "big church."

Introduce Yourself
During the worship service you will be invited to fill out a form to let us know about your visit. You're also invited to introduce yourself to any of our staff in the foyer after the service!

What to Wear
Please don't be concerned about what to wear. Some of our members like to dress up in their finest to celebrate the Lord's Day, but others choose to wear more casual styles. Many of our women wear slacks, and many men choose to leave their ties at thome during the hot Alabama summers! We will be happy to see you in whatever clothes you choose to wear.
