Senior Adults

Senior adults are an important component of our church family. Many senior adults participate actively in the full range of adult activities for worship, Bible study, and spiritual growth.

Trailblazers
Trailblazers is a special group just for seniors. It meets on the second and fourth Thursday of every month. On the second Thursday the members of the group visit church members who live in nursing homes or retirement communities. On the fourth Thursday there is a special program such as an outing or a potluck lunch with a guest speaker.

Special Accommodations
Sunday School classrooms for senior adults are conveniently located on the main floor near several entrances from the parking lot and in close proximity to the church sanctuary. A golf cart regularly patrols the parking lot on Sunday morning to give a ride to anyone who isn't able to park near the door. Personal radio receivers are available in the worship service for the hearing impaired.
